Fleet Safety Management Audit
Our strategy is based on building a detailed understanding of the risk factors to which your drivers are exposed – essential before those risks can be addressed. We believe we have to understand your management processes and the organisation’s priorities before we consider your drivers and vehicles. The fleet safety management audit enables this understanding and is a powerful tool for improving fleet safety.
The audit has three stages: a detailed questionnaire, site visit and interviews with those responsible for fleet management and safety, and the presentation of our recommendations and proposed action plan. We will address the key areas of your fleet management responsibilities: your Duty of Care under the law; your financial risks; your corporate social responsibilities (CSR), and the risk of harm from potential management failings contributing to employees’ involvement in collisions. We use a hierarchy of risk control to underpin our recommendations: eliminate risk where possible, reduce risk where it can’t be eliminated, and then manage the remaining risk factors.
